Standard Job Description

Research, develop, and verify physical and software design of test systems for the purpose of operational verification of digital and RF-digital systems. Ensure design for test standards are well defined and known to stakeholders. Design and verify a variety of electronic circuts, components, and circuit card assemblies. Work involves applying highly developed electrical engineering skills in support of a variety of hardware.

Basic Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of hands‑on experience designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware

  • Proven track record delivering complex projects from concept through production

  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams or serving as a technical lead

Technical Skills:

  • Analog and digital circuit design (schematics, PCB layout, component selection)

  • RF/microwave, high‑speed signal integrity, power electronics, or mixed‑signal design

  • Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium Designer, Mentor, Cadence, Altium, KiCad, etc.)

  • Firmware/embedded software integration (C/C++, Python, RTOS)

  • Knowledge of industry standards (IPC, MIL‑STD, ISO 9001, FCC/CE compliance)

  • Proven troubleshooting skills for hardware failures, EMI/EMC issues, and reliability problems

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field)

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of reliability testing (HALT/HASS, environmental testing)

  • Experience in manufacturing or operations environment

  • Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related field)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
