Job Duties:• Serves as an APS Team Coordinator responsible for overseeing program operations and supporting staff across assigned counties. Monitors performance, analyzes data, and identifies trends to improve service delivery and outcomes for vulnerable adults. Provides guidance on complex cases, coordinates training and stakeholder engagement, and supports the Regional Director in implementing practice improvement strategies. Ensures program compliance, operational efficiency, and effective response to emerging needs, including during emergency operations.

Provides oversight and support to APS staff across assigned counties to address complex cases, service gaps, and operational challenges. Monitors program performance, including workload capacity, staffing levels, turnover, and on-call operations, to ensure effective service delivery. Identifies trends and systemic issues, reports findings to leadership, and supports the development and implementation of program improvements. Maintains accurate, objective documentation in accordance with APS standards and may provide direct supervision, carry a limited caseload, and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Assists the Regional Director in evaluating program performance across counties by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, including standard reports and ad hoc requests. Identifies performance gaps and trends and supports the design, implementation, and monitoring of practice improvement strategies to strengthen outcomes.

Coordinates the planning and delivery of training and educational initiatives for APS staff and partners. Represents APS on internal and external committees and fosters collaborative relationships to enhance service delivery and cross-agency coordination.

Maintains current knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in services to vulnerable adults and applies this knowledge to support continuous program improvement.

Supports emergency response operations, including Red Cross sheltering and disaster-related services; reviews and ensures the quality of client emergency plans.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.APS Experience Preferred This application for employment with the SC Department of Social Services must be completed in its entirety.
