Summary
About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, 824th Quartermaster Company, 275th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 518th Sustainment Brigade, 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Duties
- Process administrative actions using automated systems.
- Maintain organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Review correspondence for submission to higher echelons.
- Preserve stock levels of organizational equipment.
- Monitor employee training programs.
- Enforce policies established by higher Headquarters.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Monitoring programs for the organization which including pay, personnel, medical readiness, training, or logistics; 2) Process administrative actions using automated systems; and 3) Coordinates various types of meetings and training events. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. This is a Military Personnel Management Career Program position aligned with the Human Capital and Resource Management Career Management Directorate. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Position may be filled as a Temporary Appointment NTE twelve (12) months. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three (3) years. Salary includes applicable locality pay. When you perform a Civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) with the government, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) considers the majority of your entitlements to be taxable. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest. New Army Reserve Military Technicians may be authorized moving expenses to their first official duty station. To be eligible to receive moving expenses, you must be a newly appointed Federal civilian employee or have a minimum of a 3-day break in service from previous Federal civilian employment. Recruitment, retention, and/or relocation incentive, student loan repayment, advanced leave accrual, and creditable service for leave accrual may be authorized when determined to be in the best interest of the government. Salary negotiations for candidates new to Federal service may be authorized.
