This role also includes leading multidisciplinary teams, managing engagement performance, supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of EY’s procurement practice.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement transformation engagements from assessment and strategy through implementation, adoption and value realization.

  • Design procurement operating models, including organization, governance, capabilities, service delivery, data and technology.

  • Develop procurement technology strategies and roadmaps across source-to-pay and related platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to apply analytics, automation and responsible AI to procurement processes and decisions.

  • Lead complex, multi-workstream programs while managing scope, staffing, economics, quality, risks and client experience.

  • Advise senior stakeholders and translate complex issues into practical recommendations, business cases and implementation roadmaps.

  • Support opportunity development, proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations.

  • Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth.

  • Lead, coach and develop inclusive, high-performing teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, engineering, economics, technology or a related field.

  • Ten or more years of relevant procurement experience.

  • Significant experience providing advisory or consulting services to external clients.

  • Deep knowledge of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.

  • Experience shaping and delivering complex, multi-workstream procurement transformation engagements.

  • Experience redesigning source-to-pay processes and procurement operating models.

  • Experience leading technology-enabled procurement transformation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with leading source-to-pay and procurement technology platforms.

  • Experience managing engagement scope, financials, quality and risk.

  • Strong executive communication, client relationship and people leadership skills.

  • Experience supporting business development, proposals and pursuit presentations.

  • The ability and willingness to travel, based on client and engagement needs.

  • Ability to work in person at an EY office and/or client location up to 50% of the time, based on client and project needs.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with global business services, shared services, managed services or outsourcing programs.

  • Experience with platforms such as Zip, GEP, ServiceNow, SAP Ariba, Coupa or comparable solutions.

  • Experience applying analytics, automation or AI-enabled approaches to procurement.

  • Prior experience in both consulting and industry.

  • An advanced degree or a relevant procurement, project management or process-improvement certification.

What we look for

We seek experienced leaders who combine procurement expertise with executive presence, commercial judgment and disciplined delivery. You will be expected to build trusted client relationships, lead teams through complex transformations and deliver measurable client value.
