Expected salary range of $147,600 to $164,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for the coordination and development of all forced, planned, and refuel outage schedules, with a focus on activity, logic, resource, and constraint input into the scheduling tool. The Scheduler will successfully develop and maintain accurate schedules throughout development and execution, by working with peer Schedulers, Specialized Team Leads, System Engineers, and Outage Specialists.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed, accurate, and usable schedules and reports.

  • Develop and maintain forced and maintenance outage plans.

  • Coordinate the detailed schedule and outage plan development for outages to ensure technical specification compliance and maintain shutdown safety in a manner consistent with clean energy center procedures, processes, and goals.

  • Develop work windows and assist in creating contingency plans by working with leads, engineers, and planners.

  • Facilitate scheduling meetings for the purpose of pre-planning, implementing, and critiquing schedules.

  • Participate and provide oversight of horizontal schedule reviews and vertical slice reviews.

  • Provide direction to all departmental planners, schedulers and specialized teams for the outage plan and schedule preparation and execution.

  • Support high impact team tracking to provide oversight of effectiveness

  • Coordinate risk screening per overall outage risk management.

  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical degree (engineering and maintenance, etc.) with 7 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management OR

  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 7 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management OR

  • Associate's degree in business or a technical degree (engineering and maintenance, etc.) with 9 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management OR

  • High school diploma/GED with 11 years of power plant experience with at least 3 years commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management

  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or previous SRO license or certification

  • Previous outage scheduling experience

  • Shutdown Safety Program knowledge

  • Supervisory or managerial experience

  • Expert level working knowledge of AS9/P6/Maximo
