POSITION SUMMARY:

The Photo Merchandise Coordinator maintains relationships with business partners and in-house photo team in order to keep projects running smoothly. Partners with the Photography Manager, Stylists, Photographers, and Product Merchants to maintain all production schedules and manage the merchandise aspects for each production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Receives and tags sample/inventory products/garments and accurately always maintain data base of in-house inventory/samples.

  • Manages product flow through cross-functional partnerships to identify missing samples, prioritizes samples for photography, duplicates requests, and expedites priority sample photography to meet launch deadlines.

  • Builds positive relationships and interactions with active partners.

  • Organizes and completes pending requests in a timely manner.

  • Steams, styles and photographs samples flat and on form.

  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required:High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience: 1 year in photographer merchandise coordination or similar role.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Proficient with Apple computers.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficient with MS Office Suites.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Attention to detail.

  • Team player who is assertive in relation to the overall operation of all photography projects.

  • Strong leadership skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regularly performs computer work and sits.

  • Occasionally walks and stands.

  • Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :

  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
