Job Overview

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Conducts Market/Product trend research (inspiration, function price) in support of new development projects in Forward Plan.

  • Supports and participates in preparation and presentation of project deliverables required by NPD Stage Gate process.

  • Ensures NPD initiatives are communicated to cross functional departments as necessary throughout organization (beyond 'gated' process).

  • Assists with Product Portfolio management by updating the Value Profile support data and maintaining visual display of Promote/Support/Retire product, by category and Value Profile tier as required.

  • Develops and maintains an understanding of core product offering.

  • Works with corporate purchasing and quality control to understand and resolve product concerns negatively impacting customer experience.

  • Collaborates with Design & D&E team to incorporate new / updated function and or features into new developments

  • Travel Required (10%)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
