IT Sourcing Specialist - INTL LATAM (remote)

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support a leading technology client’s sourcing and procurement team. This individual will play a key role in managing end-to-end sourcing events, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving vendor selection and contract execution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end sourcing events, owning project timelines from ticket intake through closure while partnering closely with internal stakeholders
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including defining business requirements, vendor criteria, and RFx structures
• Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors and lead RFx processes, including vendor outreach, communications, and logistics
• Build evaluation frameworks (scorecards, methodologies) and perform vendor analysis to support data-driven selection decisions
• Support commercial negotiations, including cost modeling, financial comparisons, and risk analysis; partner with contracts team for final contract execution
• Collaborate with contracts teams to ensure negotiated commercial terms are accurately reflected in standard contract templates (no legal services required)
• Provide ongoing reporting and tracking, including weekly status updates, savings documentation, and system updates across tools like ServiceNow, Oracle, and Zycus

Skills and Requirements

• Able to handle a simultaneous portfolio of X10+ IT Sourcing Events - each event is USD$500K and above.

• Able to lead the Source to PO process for each IT Sourcing Event. -Depth of experience in procurement of enterprise SaaS agreements.

• Capabilities in stakeholder management, demand management, leverage management, IT Deal Making, Commercial negotiations, IT price benchmarking, Leading RFPs, creating & presenting Award Recommendation papers

• Typical Events are software agreements with large IT suppliers (Google, MS, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dell, Lenovo, Adobe, etc….).

• Need to be able to lead negotiations on software deals. Also should have experience in leading deals for IT Hardware and IT Services.

• Experienced in creating leverage (where there appears to be little/none).

• Experienced in escalating within the supplier’s management chain (up to the executive suite) to ensure cost leadership is achieved.

• Needs to be able to work PST Business Hours
