What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and architecture for a growing global data warehouse environment.

• Build and optimize ETL processes that transform complex data from multiple sources into trusted, actionable business information.

• Establish data governance standards, policies, and best practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.

• Lead the design of flexible data solutions that support reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise decision-making.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.

• Partner with infrastructure teams to support platform enhancements, system upgrades, and large-scale data initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement by introducing modern analytics methodologies and business intelligence strategies.

• Analyze and profile data to identify anomalies, improve quality, and strengthen confidence in reporting.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries to support business operations, reporting needs, and regulatory audit requirements.

• Create technical and functional specifications for new data solutions and enhancements.

• Work closely with QA and cross-functional stakeholders to support validation, compliance, and governance activities.

• Help define the future direction of enterprise data architecture while enabling teams across the organization to make better, faster, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications and need-to-know

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or Data Mining.

• Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.

• Experience with Power BI and ETL tools, methodologies, and best practices.

• Advanced SQL development and database design skills.

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouses and analytics solutions.

• Experience with Oracle OLTP and OLAP environments preferred.

• Experience working in a life sciences or other regulated environment preferred.
