Full job description

Description

Our client is seeking to add a team of insurance verification coordinators for a long-term project. This project will be to secure, review, and validate medical documentation needed for insurance authorizations and reimbursement.

Hours 8am-5pm

THIS POSITION IS 100% ONSITE IN CHATTANOOGA TN*

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain required medical documentation from physicians, therapists, ATPs, and other referral sources.

  • Review and validate records to ensure compliance with payer guidelines and documentation requirements.

  • Follow up on missing or incomplete records to prevent funding delays.

  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and support audit readiness.

  • Resolve funding-related documentation issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, medical billing, funding, or related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical coding principles preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
