Job Description Position Summary
Designs, develops, secures, and improves Oracle-based relational and multidimensional data environments using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and high-availability practices.
Key Responsibilities
-
Define, design, develop, and maintain relational and multidimensional Oracle structures supporting enterprise applications, data warehouses, and data marts.

Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and automation scripts.
-
Review schemas, indexes, execution plans, queries, and workloads; identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
-
Develop and maintain data acquisition, integration, migration, archival, backup, recovery, and continuity strategies.
-
Apply access controls, least privilege, secure coding, auditing, and protection of sensitive information.

Support high availability, production readiness, monitoring, troubleshooting, standards, metadata, documentation, and continuous improvement across test and production environments.

Education and Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience with an Associate degree. Experience must include Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, database design, automation, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, high availability, data integration, and support of test or production database environments.

Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word proficiency.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Potential overtime, weekend work, and travel; no on-call requirement.
