Working with experienced team members, the co-op helps plan and conduct usability studies, analyze findings, document results, and share recommendations with product teamsEssential Functions

  • Help plan and conduct user research and usability studies with representative users, patients, clinicians, or other intended users.

  • Prepare usability study materials, including protocols, surveys, data collection forms, and reports.

  • Analyze study data, identify usability issues, and present findings to cross-functional teams.

  • Contribute to user interface requirements, usability risk analyses, and design recommendations.

  • Collaborate with engineering, clinical research, regulatory, marketing, and other teams to support product development.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Currently enrolled or have experience in biomedical engineering, psychology, human factors, or a related discipline.

  • Coursework or project experience in human factors, psychology, biomedical engineering, or a related field required

  • Experience collecting and analyzing data and communicating findings clearly required

  • Experience collaborating on team projects and completing work independently required

  • Experience planning or conducting user research or usability studies preferred

  • Experience developing usability study protocols, surveys, or reports preferred

  • Familiarity with medical devices, user interface design, or usability risk analysis preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Great written and verbal communication skills required

The hourly pay rate for this position is:

$20.00 to $24.00
