Senior Radiographer - General Imaging / Interventional & Cath Labs Location: London Bridge Hospital, The Shard and Private Care at Guys, part of London Bridge Campus, Central London Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekends and participation in on-call rotas Shifts: Rotating 7.5-hour shifts between 07:30 and 20:00 Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus fantastic benefits including private healthcare, Gymflex and the option to buy and sell additional annual leave.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Radiographer to join our Imaging team across the London Bridge Campus. Working within our CQC "Outstanding-rated" Imaging service, you will be part of a highly experienced and supportive team delivering exceptional patient care across London Bridge Hospital, The Shard and Private Care at Guys.
You'll work across a diverse range of services including General X-Ray, inpatient and outpatient imaging, mobile radiography, fluoroscopy and theatre-based procedures, developing your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Working closely with leading consultants and multidisciplinary teams, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging whilst utilising some of the most advanced imaging technology available within the UK's private healthcare sector.
This role will primarily support our General Imaging service, however candidates with previous Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and/or Interventional Radiology experience would be particularly welcomed, enabling support across multiple imaging specialties within the London Bridge Campus.
Our General Imaging department is equipped with the latest Siemens X-ray and fluoroscopy systems, image intensifiers and an O-Arm for intra-operative 3D imaging. Our specialist Cath Lab and Interventional services are also supported by state-of-the-art Siemens technology, allowing us to deliver a wide range of advanced diagnostic and image-guided procedures.

What you'll do:
- Provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating Imaging equipment in accordance with operational procedures and ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
- Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the correct parties.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency.
- To rotate between areas as required.
- Participate in the out of hours and on-call rota
- Assist in staff and student orientation and training.
- Accept and perform non-radiographic duties that are intrinsic to the day to day running of the department, e.g. make appointments, answer the telephone and perform office duties.
What you'll bring:
- Degree in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent
- HCPC registered
- Significant post-qualification experience within General X-Ray.
- Experience in theatre imaging, mobile radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Previous Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and/or Interventional Radiology experience is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
