Location Description

Bring your accounting expertise to a role where accurate, timely work helps keep the business moving. As an Accountant on the Corporate Accounting team, you will own assigned accounting processes and contribute to monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit support.
You will prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, research issues, complete daily accounting activities, and partner with teams across the organization. Success in this role means meeting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, communicating clearly, and identifying practical ways to improve processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analysis for assigned accounting areas.
-
Complete daily accounting activities, including bank activity and tax-related schedules.
-
Support accurate and timely monthly close and financial reporting by meeting established deadlines and resolving outstanding items.
-
Research accounting issues and reconciling items, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution.
-
Maintain clear process documentation and recommend practical improvements that strengthen efficiency and internal controls.
-
Ensure assigned work supports Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and established financial control requirements.
-
Prepare clear, complete support for internal and external audit requests.
-
Partner with internal departments, plant personnel, and other accounting team members to respond to requests and clarify information.

Provide backup coverage across the Corporate Accounting team and contribute to special projects as needed.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Required Qualifications

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Ability to produce accurate, complete work and consistently meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with partners across multiple departments.

Demonstrated dependability, accountability, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

1-4 years of accounting experience preferred.

Experience with JD Edwards or another enterprise resource planning system preferred.

Corporate, general ledger, fixed asset, plant, or operational accounting experience preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, food and beverage, or another complex organization preferred.

The pay range for this position is $55,937 - $76,075 per year.
