Responsibilities
This position is accountable for assuming leadership in the area of coordinating and training staff and the community in courses associated with the American Red Cross (ARC), American Heart Association (AHA), and the Office of Emergency Medical Services-NJ. The position promotes high-quality, evidence-based education that improves patient and community outcomes. The position serves as an education liaison between the hospital, emergency medical services, community ambulance squads, and other local community partners to support resuscitation credentialing and emergency-based community health initiatives.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
-
Current healthcare professional (licensed or certified RN, EMT, Paramedic).

Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.

Current BLS American Heart Association (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Current ALS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

BLS Faculty status through the American Red Cross (ARC) & AHA

ALS Faculty status through the ARC & AHA

FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) training required.

Minimum of 5 years EMS experience required.

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience required.

Must be able to travel to community partners and other Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis.

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $86,403.20 to $113,464.00 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
