Full job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA . In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions, developing and maintaining dashboards and reports, and identifying trends and insights to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with experience using tools such as Tableau.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain dashboards supporting staffing, financial and billing analysis, and performance metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Design and implement data models, metrics, and reporting solutions to measure business performance and track KPIs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain documentation of data sources, metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes.

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and insights to support customer and business needs.

  • Ensure dashboards and reports provide accurate, timely, and actionable information for management and stakeholders.

  • Standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday, within the core hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 11+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

  • Direct experience with Tableau, including dashboard development and data visualization.

  • Direct experience supporting customers and translating customer requirements into data-driven reporting solutions.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling and experience working with large datasets.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI data visualization and dashboard development.

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Performance Analytics.

  • Previous experience supporting IT service management, business operations analytics, financial/billing analysis, staffing analytics, or strategic performance monitoring.

  • Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM processes, particularly within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions for staffing, financial, billing, operational, and performance metrics.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 75% of the time.

  • Constantly operates a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.

  • Occasionally moves inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, man
