This is a full-time Corporate HR Generalist position based in Humble, TX.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR CORPORATE HR GENERALIST As a Corporate HR Generalist, you will support employees throughout every stage of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and orientation to employee changes, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and offboarding. You will work closely with the Corporate HR Manager to ensure processes run smoothly while maintaining accurate employee records, overseeing HRIS data integrity, and assisting with reporting and process documentation. Your day will include supporting benefits and leave administration, responding to employee and manager questions, coordinating communications, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and employment-related requirements. You will also contribute to policy development, HR system improvements, company-wide HR initiatives, and process improvement efforts designed to increase consistency, efficiency, scalability, and the overall employee experience. Throughout your work, you will collaborate with employees, leaders, colleagues, and cross-functional teams to support business needs and help strengthen operations across the organization.
Here's what we need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive human resources experience
- Experience in an HR Generalist, Corporate HR, or similar Human Resources role
- Working knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, HR operations, and the employee lifecycle
- Experience working with HRIS systems and employee data management
- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong judgment and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive work through completion
- Ability to research issues, evaluate options, and provide thoughtful recommendations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multi-location organization
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with HRIS implementation, optimization, or system upgrades
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent
- Experience supporting company-wide HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and policy development
