Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support the design, engineering, deployment, commissioning, and client delivery of enterprise audiovisual technology solutions. This individual will serve as the technical lead throughout the project lifecycle, partnering with project managers, clients, installation teams, vendors, and field engineers to ensure AV systems are delivered on time, within scope, and according to engineering standards.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial AV integration and understands how to translate customer requirements into scalable and reliable collaboration, conferencing, presentation, and workplace technology solutions.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in commercial audiovisual integration, engineering, or systems design. Experience designing and deploying enterprise AV systems in corporate, financial, healthcare, higher education, or commercial environments. Strong understanding of: Crestron Q-SYS Biamp Extron Microsoft Teams Rooms Zoom Rooms Audio DSP technologies AV-over-IP technologies Ability to read and create engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Understanding of networking fundamentals including: TCP/IP VLANs Switching PoE Networked AV devices Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting enterprise AV systems. CTS or CTS-D certification. Q-SYS, Crestron, Biamp, Dante, or manufacturer certifications. Experience using AutoCAD, Visio, Revit, or similar design tools. Exposure to security, structured cabling, electrical, or IT infrastructure projects. Previous experience working for an AV integrator.
