As a Senior Health Care Fiscal Analyst at Horizon, you will…
-
Complete annual behavioral health cost reports due to state and local agencies, specifically Consolidated Fiscal Reports, Consolidated Budget Reports and associated audits.

Work closely with state and local government agencies to complete recurring reporting requirements.

Develop and maintain cost reports specific to Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs).

Create quantitative reports for monitoring and measuring fiscal goals.

Work with the finance team to complete monthly financial reports and analyses.

A bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting, auditing, finance, or healthcare administration required.

1-2 years of professional experience in the review and analysis of fiscal and cost operations and/or billing systems of a governmental agency, nonprofit organization, or hospital or healthcare facility related to reimbursement rates, principles, and practices required.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas.

Able to build relationships with others and collaborate within a team environment.

Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and an aptitude for problem-solving.
Location:
This position is located at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville NY.
Hours:
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with flexible hours.
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $62,000 - $68,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
This position entails eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 for your commitment to work with our Horizon Certified Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) for at least one year. A change in scheduled hours or location of employment may impact eligibility of bonus.
Physical demands associated with this position include:

Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting

Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements

Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
