  • Counsel business partners on contractor and trade licensing, permitting, safety, environmental, accessibility, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Advise on vendor performance, emergency work, payment disputes, construction defects, claims, and other operational or project-related matters.

  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, easements, title and survey review, due diligence, and closings.

What you'll bring:

  • Significant experience in facility operations, construction law, commercial contracting, and real estate, including maintaining, renovating, and constructing retail, industrial, or corporate facilities.

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills across construction, design, professional services, maintenance, procurement, and commercial agreements, with working knowledge of real estate transactions.

  • Practical understanding of project risks, including changes, delays, defects, payment, liens, insurance, indemnity, warranties, and claims.

  • Ability to assess legal and business risks and deliver practical, solutions-oriented advice.

  • Confident, collaborative leader with sound judgment, clear communication, strong stakeholder relationships, and the resilience and organization to manage high-volume commercial and transactional work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
