What matters most To excel as a Part-Time Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center at Southwest Health System, Inc., you'll need a robust set of skills and qualifications. A graduate of an accredited nursing program, you must hold a current Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado or a compact license. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Nursing Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required (bachelor's degree preferred) - Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire. - Current BLS certification. - Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate. - Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate. - Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire. Language Skills: - Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. - Additional languages preferred.
