2nd Shift General Maintenance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment * Interpret schematics, prints, diagrams, and oral instructions and apply them to the task at hand. * Troubleshoot and identify hazards and diagnose malfunctioning systems * Perform corrective, preventive maintenance & calibrations * Prepare new machines and production equipment for operation. * Disassemble machines and repairs or replaces broken parts * Perform welding, grinding, and flame cutting activities * Able to work as part of a team and contribute to the maintenance team and facility in general. * Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand / power tools and precision-measuring instruments. * Operation of tool room equipment (lathe, mill, drill presses, etc.) * Maintain safe and clean working environment * Comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations * All other duties as assigned by Supervision QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum 3 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician/machine repairman or associated work * Strong verbal and oral communication skills * Ability to read blueprints/design schematics * Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job * Working knowledge of mechanical systems * Ability to work any shift and overtime as required Preferred: * Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment * Relevant certifications * Proven problem-solving & critical thinking skills Do you have any questions?
