Description

Prime Video is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support operational excellence and strategic initiatives that scale Prime Video's business. You will contribute to critical mechanisms, support go-to-market planning and execution for business initiatives, and deliver cross-functional programs that impact the customer experience and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a builder who is comfortable working in ambiguity, combines solid analytical skills with strong program management capabilities, and has a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments. You will work at the intersection of content, product, marketing, and finance to help Prime Video operate with rigor, speed, and a relentless focus on customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end business planning processes including operational planning, goal-setting and business reviews

  • Build and maintain executive reporting mechanisms to surface actionable insights for leadership

  • Execute cross-functional programs and initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market for strategic priorities

  • Partner with Finance, Product, Content, Marketing, and Technology teams to align priorities, remove blockers, and drive execution against shared goals

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple teams; communicate clearly and contribute to alignment across groups

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and process documentation to ensure operational continuity and institutional knowledge

  • Drive post-launch retrospectives and lessons-learned processes; help translate findings into process improvements and preventive mechanisms

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, program management, or a related analytical role

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs or workstreams from conception through delivery

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise documents and present to senior audiences

  • Experience earning trust with and influencing stakeholders across diverse functional areas

  • Interest in and familiarity with the media, entertainment, or streaming industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to scalable operational workflows that reduced cycle time or increased throughput

  • Experience leading business review mechanisms and executive reporting

  • Exposure to change management — rolling out new processes, tools, or operating models across teams

  • Experience transitioning ad hoc or manual processes into repeatable, self-service mechanisms

  • Experience leveraging AI tools or automation to scale operational workflows, improve reporting efficiency, or eliminate repetitive manual work

  • Experience owning and administering operational tooling for project management or data management (e.g., Asana, Airtable)

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
