About the role

As a Facets Developer (.NET), you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting healthcare payer solutions on the TriZetto Facets platform. You will leverage your expertise in Facets, .NET technologies, SQL Server, and healthcare payer operations to deliver scalable applications, integrations, and enhancements that support critical business functions.

You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Technology team and work closely with business analysts, QA teams, database administrators, architects, and client stakeholders to develop and maintain high-quality solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.

Location: Remote / Mason, OH (as required by project)

Work Model: Remote

In this role, you will:

Design, develop, enhance, and support healthcare payer applications on the TriZetto Facets platform.

Develop and maintain .NET-based applications, APIs, interfaces, web services, and batch processes that support business operations and system integrations.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.

Configure and support Facets customizations, workflows, and integrations with upstream and downstream applications.

Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, data extracts, and validation scripts to support implementations and ongoing operations.

Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to minimize operational disruption.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, DBAs, and client stakeholders throughout development, testing, deployment, and release cycles.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment activities, and production support to ensure solution quality and performance.

Support system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing optimization efforts across healthcare payer platforms.

Contribute to development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you need to have to be considered

5+ years of hands-on experience working with the TriZetto Facets platform.

Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, Web API, and related frameworks.

Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Experience developing healthcare payer solutions and Facets integrations.

Knowledge of EDI transactions and healthcare data exchange processes.

Strong understanding of Facets Claims, Membership, Enrollment, Benefits, and Provider modules.

Experience supporting batch processing, job scheduling, application monitoring, and production support activities.

Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with business users and client stakeholders.

These will help you stand out

Experience with Facets data model architecture and database structures.

Experience supporting Facets implementation, migration, or modernization projects.

Knowledge of Azure cloud services and cloud-based application architectures.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps tools.

Understanding of healthcare payer operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

Experience working in enterprise-scale healthcare technology environments.

Familiarity with API development, microservices architecture, and integration frameworks.

Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical leadership initiatives.

Work Model

This is a remote position. Associates will primarily work remotely while collaborating with project teams, business stakeholders, and clients. Occasional travel or onsite attendance in Mason, Ohio may be required based on project needs.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $99K - $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
