Full job description

ThoughtSpot is a Data & AI platform that helps companies turn data into enterprise advantage. We're Gartner MQ leaders with more than 1,000 customers globally and offices in Mountain View, Chicago, London, Bangalore, Sydney, and Tokyo. We’re looking for a sharp, data-driven writer who can move between a 2,000-word ebook and a 12-word ad headline without losing the point. You’ll create content for one of our agentic analytics products, working closely with your manager, PMM, Demand Gen, and Organic to turn strategy into content that fills pipeline.

What You’ll Do

  • Write Long-Form Content: Produce ebooks, whitepapers, analyst and industry reports, articles, and case studies.
  • Write Copy That Converts: Create landing pages, emails, ads, social posts, and video scripts built to drive action.
  • Shape and Execute the Content Plan: Bring your own ideas for formats, topics, and campaigns, and deliver against the roadmap set with your manager, PMM, and Demand Gen.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with PMM, Demand Gen, SEO, Web, design, and subject matter experts to turn product detail into content buyers care about.
  • Optimize for Performance: Use data and analytics to measure what works, test new approaches, and improve.
  • Hold the Brand Voice: Make sure everything you ship is smart, approachable, and willing to take a stance.

Who You Are

  • Experienced High-Tech Content Marketer: 5+ years in content marketing at a high-tech company. Experience in data, analytics, or BI is a plus, but we’ll take a great writer who can learn the space fast.
  • An Exceptional Writer and Editor: A portfolio that shows range, from long-form to tight copy, and the metrics showing how your work contributed to pipeline.
  • Able to Translate Technical Products: You can explain a complex product to a skeptical buyer, building content around their pain and outcomes across persona, industry, and line of business.
  • Full of Ideas: You pitch formats, angles, and campaigns without being asked, and your portfolio shows ideas that worked.
  • Comfortable With Performance Data: You tie content to pipeline using marketing automation, Google Analytics, and Salesforce.
  • A Strong Collaborator: You’ve worked cross-functionally in a high-growth environment and deliver multiple projects on time and on message. Familiarity with project management tools like Asana is a plus.
  • Fluent in AI: You use AI for research, brainstorming, outlining, and editing, and the final words are always yours. Nothing you publish sounds like it came from a model. AI is part of how you work, never how your content sounds.
