Full-Time: 36 Hours Per Week1st Shift: 9am - 9:30pmMonday-Friday with Rotating Weekends/HolidaysDepartment: Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit Summary: The Behavioral Health Safety Technician reports directly to the clinical coordinator or charge nurse and is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of a safe environment for patients, families, and staff during program hours. They will therapeutically intervene with patients experiencing emotional disturbance, utilizing evidence-based de-escalation and aggression management techniques. They will also assist with the specialized patient care needs of each individual patient using principles of child and adolescent development and knowledge of psychopathology.
