Position Description

As a Data Integration Engineer specializing in Oracle GoldenGate, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise grade data replication and integration solutions across complex environments. You will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and application teams to establish and optimize real time and near real time data replication throughout the software development lifecycle.

In this role, you will lead the integration of customer facing applications with Oracle GoldenGate deployments in Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, data consistency, and reliable data movement across heterogeneous platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data replication technologies, database administration concepts, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and cloud based architectures.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Due to the nature of the government contract, US citizenship is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

. Designing and implementing scalable Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions.

. Supporting data integration requirements across development, testing, and production environments.

. Monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting replication processes to ensure data integrity and minimal latency.

. Collaborating with application, database, and cloud engineering teams to deliver highly available data services.

. Implementing best practices for performance tuning, disaster recovery, security, and operational support.

. Leading technical discussions and providing guidance on data migration, synchronization, and modernization initiatives in Azure.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Strong hands on experience with Oracle GoldenGate administration, configuration, and performance tuning.

. Deep understanding of Oracle databases, replication architectures, and data integration patterns.

. Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud native deployment models.

. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data replication and synchronization issues.

. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

. Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members in data integration best practices.

Experience with Azure API Management or a comparable enterprise API management platform.

Experience designing or supporting containerized microservices and secure API connectors.

Working knowledge of identity, access, and security controls in regulated or federal environments.

Experience implementing API telemetry, webhooks, health reporting, diagnostics, and operational logging.

Ability to collaborate with technical, security, operations, and client stakeholders and translate integration needs into reliable API services.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Experience supporting cross bureau or multi system data exchange.

Knowledge of TAAMS, eNativeTrust, BIA operational workflows, or similar land and trust systems.

Experience with automated build status reporting, operational dashboards, and incident diagnostics.

Familiarity with government system documentation and audit support.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $82,600.00 $203,300.00.
