Position Summary The Specialty Sales Support Associate provides pre-sale and post-sale support for specialty benefits business, serving as a liaison between Sales, Underwriting, Implementation, Account Management, Brokers, and Plan Sponsors. This role is responsible for supporting the full sales lifecycle, ensuring accurate case management, resolving operational issues, and delivering exceptional service to internal and external partners.
Essential Job Responsibilities Sales Support & Case Management
- Support the end-to-end sales process from quote request through case installation and post-sale support.
- Manage opportunity records and maintain accurate sales data within Salesforce.
- Assist sales reps with updating opportunity stages, win probabilities, comments, and case statuses when needed.
- Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and coordinate with Corporate Sales Support when required.
- Research and resolve quoting issues, declined cases, underwriting concerns, and sales support escalations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for sales support processes and supporting systems.
- Partner with Medical Sales Support, Underwriting, Implementation, Account Management, Commissions, Licensing and Appointment teams, and other business partners to support sales needs.
- Build and maintain productive relationships across multiple functional areas.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in sales, sales support or project management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Deliver exceptional service to Sales, Brokers, Plan Sponsors, and internal business partners.
- Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail in all work.
- Adapt to changing business needs, priorities, and systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce application experience.
- Project Management experience.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:
$21.10 - $49.08 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
