About the role A hyperscale technology company is hiring Owner’s Representative Project Managers for data center campuses being built by third-party developers and general contractors in Northern Virginia. You’ll be the owner’s project manager onsite. That means walking the job, knowing the work, holding the developer and GC to scope, quality and schedule, and getting problems in front of owner leadership early. The developer and GC run execution. You make sure it’s being done right.

What you’ll do

Act as the owner’s day-to-day PM onsite, leading coordination with the developer, GC and design team Walk the site regularly to monitor construction progress, quality and workmanship across all trades Run or attend OAC meetings, and track action items, open issues and decisions Monitor MEP installation (electrical, mechanical, controls), and flag issues before they become rework Review RFIs, submittals and change requests from the owner’s perspective Track progress against milestones, including utility power, long-lead equipment and building turnover Observe site safety and escalate gaps to the owner’s EHS team Support commissioning, punch list, closeout and handover to operations Report status, risks and issues clearly to owner leadership

Skills and Requirements

7+ years in construction project management (PM, Senior PM or APM with strong field time) Data center or mission-critical construction experience Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and the data center construction sequence Comfortable in the field: site walks, trade coordination, quality and installation issues Experience managing or overseeing GCs and subcontractors on large commercial or industrial builds Clear communicator who raises issues early and works well with developers and GCs Able to commit to 3 to 4 days/week onsite in Northern Virginia Pluses

Owner’s rep or client-side PM experience Electrical or mechanical engineering degree or background Hyperscale or multi-building campus experience Experience with a developer new to data center delivery, or with leased and build-to-suit projects Experience overseeing more than one GC at the same time Pay app review and schedule review (P6) experience PE or PMP
