Global Power produces weld assemblies, fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of power equipment. Position Summary: Global Power Components is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will initially focus on inside sales, managing, and growing relationships with an established book of OEM and distributor accounts while maintaining an active quote pipeline. This position is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with 3-5 years of inside sales experience who is eager to develop into an outside sales and business development role over time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and brings a strong understanding of customer specifications and technical requirements. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: Account Management * Assume ownership of existing OEM and distributor customer accounts within the team, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of service. * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. * Proactively communicate with customers to understand project timelines, upcoming needs, and changes to specifications. * Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and consistently deliver a high level of customer service. Quoting & Inside Sales * Manage and stay on top of an active quote pipeline, ensuring all quotes are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer specifications. * Review customer drawings, specs, and technical documentation to develop accurate quotations in coordination with engineering and operations teams. * Track quote activity, follow up on open opportunities, and maintain organized records of customer communications and project updates. * Coordinate with internal teams including Project Management, Engineering, and Production to...
