Full job description

We self-perform hard services while partnering with best-in-class soft service providers to offer custom facility and project management solutions to our clients. We focus on empowering our team with a high-level of downstream accountability, resulting in an agile and efficient service delivery.

About the Role

As the CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will be the dedicated planning resource for a busy, multi-system site that requires disciplined scheduling, proactive job preparation, and tight coordination between technicians, contractors, and the Reliability Asset Engineer. You will own the weekly maintenance schedule, work-order backlog management, job kitting, parts and service coordination, contractor scheduling, and shutdown preparation.

This is a site where priorities shift based on production demand, harvest cycles, and equipment condition. A strong Maintenance Planner is the backbone of a well-run maintenance operation — and on this account, that function has been underserved. You will be building and reinforcing planning discipline in a dynamic environment.

Site Context

This role supports a dynamic, high-output operation that includes high-speed manufacturing, bottling lines, guest experience facilities, general office, storage, warehousing, and wastewater and drain water systems. Understanding the operational rhythm of this site is essential.

The site operates two production lines: one runs seasonally for approximately six months per year filling bottles, and a second line runs daily for 11–12 months per year across one or two shifts producing finished goods and empty cages. Output adapts continuously to market demand, meaning downtime is not predictable and all maintenance personnel must be capable of supporting an active bottling line.

The site operates on a two-shift model with three technicians per shift. During harvest season — typically six to eight weeks, generally falling between early August and mid-September, though timing can vary year to year — maintenance moves to a 24/7 schedule. Shifts restructure into three 8-hour rotations across six days, with a dedicated Sunday check-in to ensure facility integrity. No time off is permitted during harvest. All candidates must be comfortable with this schedule structure before applying.

What You'll Do

  • Own the weekly planning and scheduling process; assign work orders to individual technicians or teams based on priority, skill, and availability.

  • Manage the maintenance backlog; ensure work is properly scoped, staged, and ready before it's assigned to the floor.

  • Coordinate job preparation including materials kitting, permit acquisition, tool staging, and subcontractor scheduling.

  • Partner closely with the Reliability Asset Engineer on PM program execution and schedule compliance.

  • Coordinate subcontractor engagement, scheduling, and direction in partnership with the Site Supervisor.

  • Review predictive maintenance data for trends; provide regular reporting to site and CBRE management.

  • Conduct annual reviews of PM and PdM programs; recommend adjustments based on performance data.

  • Develop and distribute workflow processes to the full maintenance team.

  • Support shutdown planning and preparation — ensure all resources are staged and ready for planned outages.

  • Support harvest season planning requirements, including modified scheduling and 24/7 coverage coordination.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Experience with CMMS platforms; ability to manage work order lifecycles from creation through completion.

  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.

  • Ability to read predictive and preventive maintenance data and translate it into scheduling decisions.

  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and external service providers.

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment; must understand the rhythm of a production site.

  • Strong communication skills; this role interfaces with technicians, the Reliability Engineer, the Site Supervisor, and CBRE management daily.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Availability for harvest season scheduling requirements (no time off during this period).

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
