Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Community Services Flight. Duties
Under the general supervision of the Community Center Manager, the incumbent directs and oversees daily food and beverage operations across Community Services facilities, including but not limited to Dakota's Lounge, Bistro 28, and catered special events. The position exercises direct supervisory authority over assigned personnel, leading recruitment, onboarding, staff training, work scheduling, performance management, and employee relations to maintain high operational standards and customer satisfaction. Actively manages food and beverage production, menu execution, portion control, recipe consistency, and Point of Sale (POS) configurations while strictly enforcing all food safety, sanitation, and public health inspection standards. Offsite catering service and procurement. Managing physical inventory cycles, evaluating food and beverage production orders, maintaining cost cards and scatter sheets, and submitting daily operational and financial documentation. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in supervising personnel. Must have experience which provides knowledge of food and beverage operations. Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as: receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have experience which demonstrates ability to provide work direction to employees and knowledge of fire, safety, and health regulations. Knowledge of government food safety practices.
Education

Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
