2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Shift: 2nd Shift, Hours are 3:30pm to 11:30pm Mon -Fri.

Salary: 60-70K based on experience

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a production team in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for a Technical Lead, Production Lead, Manufacturing Supervisor, or experienced Assembly/Wiring professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership. The Supervisor will be responsible for production performance, employee development, quality, safety, and resolving issues that impact the shift.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily 2nd shift manufacturing operations , workflow, and staffing

  • Monitor production to ensure goals, schedules, and customer requirements are met

  • Coordinate production priorities with Planning and other departments

  • Identify and resolve production delays, equipment issues, and process disruptions

  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees to maximize performance and engagement

  • Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, safety updates, and operational priorities

  • Train new employees and ensure established work procedures are followed

  • Address attendance, performance, and employee relations concerns with management

  • Promote a safe and productive work environment

  • Conduct safety inspections and assist with incident investigations and corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety standards, and environmental requirements

  • Monitor product quality and work with Quality teams to resolve non-conformances

  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve consistency

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operating costs

  • Encourage employee participation in safety and continuous improvement initiatives

Technical Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership role involving assembly, electrical wiring, and electronic components . The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with technical products and troubleshooting production-related issues.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Lead, Production Lead, or similar role in assembly and wiring

  • Working knowledge of electronic components and their ratings

  • Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or electronics environment

  • Strong leadership and employee coaching skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make sound decisions

  • Experience using Microsoft Office/Microsoft Suite

  • Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, when needed

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training/experience preferred; trade school, military, electronics, or related manufacturing experience will be considered
