Digital Marketing Content Manager

Hybrid | Austin, TX | Contract-to-Hire

Robert Half is hiring a Digital Marketing Content Manager to join a growing enterprise marketing firm in Austin, Texas. This contract-to-hire opportunity is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for the creation, optimization, distribution, governance, and performance management of digital campaigns across an enterprise environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys executing work across content management, on-page and technical SEO, website optimization, analytics reporting, and paid media.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee updates and ongoing maintenance for multiple active websites, ensuring content remains accurate, timely, and aligned with business goals.

  • Publish and revise digital content across enterprise web platforms while upholding brand, compliance, and usability standards.

  • Conduct regular quality checks on web pages and digital assets to identify issues and maintain a consistent user experience.

  • Lead website content migrations related to CMS changes, acquisitions, consolidations, and replatforming efforts.

  • Execute on-page SEO including keyword research and mapping, metadata optimization, internal linking, content structure improvements, and post-publish optimization.

  • Monitor site and campaign performance using analytics tools and translate findings into practical recommendations for optimization.

  • Support paid digital initiatives by assisting with Google Ads and related campaign activities to improve reach and engagement.

  • Read, interpret, and analyze dashboards and reports using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and related tools to assess performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience in an enterprise or digital marketing agency environment.

  • Hands-on experience managing several websites simultaneously (5-10) in a detail-focused environment.

  • Background in publishing, editing, and maintaining content within enterprise-level digital platforms.

  • Experience utilizing one of the following CMS systems: Kentico, Umbraco, Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and handle shifting priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency building dashboards from scratch using GA4 and/or Looker Stuido.

  • Ability to evaluate digital results and use data to guide content and campaign improvements.

  • Strong hands-on Paid Media experience supporting and managing campaigns ($10k monthly spend) in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads.

  • Strong hands-on SEO experience (SEMrush or Screaming Frog) with expertise in keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, content optimization, and technical SEO auditing.
