What we’re looking for:

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Performance Analyst position supports the company’s Digital Transformation. Company value is unlocked through optimization of manufacturing processes via data analysis in order to drive efficiency, cost, and quality improvements. Additionally, dashboard development to display performance metrics will enable data-driven decision-making for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Regional Safety & Environmental Goals through participation in EH&S programs and other Safety initiatives. Participate in EH&S initiatives and complete required training programs

  • Assist with development, validation, and maintenance of manufacturing performance metrics including cost, OEE, yields, raw material efficiency, energy intensity, waste generation, inventory, and quality.

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities and digital tools to meet improvement goals.

  • Support implementation and sustainability of advanced process control applications KPIs and reporting.

  • Support implementation and sustainability of Advanced Process Models (Digital Twins).

  • Lead implementation and sustainability of Machine Learning or other advanced mathematical tools.

  • Work collaboratively with Manufacturing Leadership to support definition, analysis, and visualization of manufacturing performance metrics.

  • Lead standardization and develop automated metrics and reporting to enable performance improvement.

  • Assist SMEs in using statistical and data analysis tools to identify value-generating opportunities.

  • Lead implementation of automated data collection and collation from various sources to central systems.

  • Navigate complex data sources such as SAP or SQL to extract information for analysis.

  • Use programming tools to preprocess data for analysis and visualization.

  • Assist with benchmarking studies of internal and external facilities.

  • Support company-wide digital transformation activities and share best practices.

  • Able to respond to urgent needs and work extra hours if needed.

  • Work collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds.

  • Assist other employees in achieving company goals and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science.

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field is a plus.

  • 3 years of operations-related experience in petrochemical or refining industries is required. 5+ years of experience in an analytical expert role is preferred.

  • Must have current experience using Python, Tableau, Azure SQL and Oracle DW with PL-SQL. Strong aptitude for programming such as Python and familiarity with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.

  • Strong technical capabilities in digital twins, machine learning, and Agentic AI.

  • Six Sigma, Digital Ambassador, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
