Full job description

About Factory

Our mission is to create a world where software builds and improves itself.

We build the platform for self-improving software development, helping the world's largest enterprise engineering teams turn their organizations into autonomous software factories. Customers including Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe, and T-Mobile run Factory to ship code, review PRs, run tests, and deploy continuously - getting smarter with every cycle.

In 2026, we raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing our total funding to over $400M. We are backed by world-class investors and operators including Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks), and Frank Slootman (Former CEO of Snowflake).

About the Role

Factory is looking for highly capable engineers to own and lead engineering projects across our product suite. You will work closely with our design, research, engineering, and GTM teams to build a platform that delivers tremendous value to our customers.

What you will do and achieve

  • Design, develop, and maintain critical platform features from the ground up, ensuring they meet our high standards for scalability, performance, and user experience.

  • Ship highly secure and fault-tolerant code, building for large enterprise customers that require high reliability.

  • Work closely with the engineering, research, design, and GTM teams to refine and implement new features, taking them from concept to live features that drive significant value for our users.

Qualifications

  • A strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of experience in full-stack development roles. Strong frontend expertise is required.

  • Proficiency in a diverse set of programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python. Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience with both frontend and backend development, including API design, database management, and crafting user interfaces that delight users.

  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) that support scalable application deployment.
