What You’ll Do as Warming Station Staff:
You’ll be at the heart of our mission, ensuring that guests at our warming center feel safe, supported, and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:

Complete all direct service tasks related to the warming center including intakes; providing material goods to guest as needed, interacting with guests, and providing them with referrals and/or information about area services and programs as appropriate

Provide laundry service got guests, washing and drying the laundry for guests as requested
-
Maintain a list of guests each day and provide that information to the supervisor as required

Ensure that all policies and procedures of the warming center are followed by guests

Upon arrival, set-up warming center, including cots, bedding, beverages, food, entertainment supplies, etc.

Upon departure of all guests, clean and disinfect all equipment used and the warming center including bathroom and kitchen area
Program Schedule:
Runs November 2026 through April 2027
Open every day—including holidays
Part time two shifts available:

Evening: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
-
Overnight: 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Compensation:
$30 an hour

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED required
-
1 to 3 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or vulnerable populations
-
Empathy, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in all situations
