Full job description
The Sr AP Operations Analyst plays a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and efficient accounts payable services across Saint-Gobain’s North American businesses. As a key escalation point and trusted partner, you will collaborate with business units, offshore service providers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, monitor performance and controls, and support high-impact initiatives.
This is an opportunity to influence AP operations at scale by helping manage billions of dollars in annual supplier payments while simplifying processes, expanding automation and digital capabilities, strengthening service delivery, and driving continuous improvement. Your analytical mindset, customer focus, and ability to turn insights into action will help shape a more efficient, controlled, and future-ready AP organization.
Key responsibilities include:

Coordinate day-to-day accounts payable operations for assigned businesses, helping ensure suppliers are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with established policies and controls.

Serve as a key escalation point for complex invoice, payment, workflow, and supplier issues, partnering with GBS, business units, Treasury, IT, Purchasing, suppliers, and offshore service delivery teams to drive timely resolution.

Monitor service delivery and key performance indicators, analyze root causes, and coordinate corrective actions to address operational risks, recurring issues, and performance gaps.

Advance process improvement, automation, and digital initiatives that simplify workflows, strengthen accuracy and controls, and improve the customer and supplier experience.

Support ERP migrations, acquisitions, divestitures, audits, government reporting, and other high-impact projects affecting AP operations.

Strengthen AP policies, procedures, and internal controls while providing guidance, training, and subject-matter expertise to business partners and offshore service delivery teams.

Hybrid position based in the Malvern, PA office.

5 years applicable work experience within accounts payables or related business functions. Prior experience servicing internal customers in a large complex organization is preferred.-

Experience with integrated ERP's and Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with other Microsoft Office tools and workflow software is preferred.

Excellent analytical skills, including raw data sets and analytics sourced through tools.

Experienced in applying and following established procedures and work instructions to complete day to day responsibilities, which are generally well-defined and straight-forward, but require occasional deviations. Requires good analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of sound decision making.

Ability to handle high volume of work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and complete work with tight turnarounds and deadlines. Must possess strong attention to detail and error prevention.

Ability to work closely with offshore team members and work across company, geography, time zone, and culture.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $72,500 to $111,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.-
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $79,025 to $121,535. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
