Fireplace Installation Technician Location: Denver Metro Area Position: Full-Time, Year-Round Starting Salary: $65,000+ per year, based on experience About the Position We are an established fireplace service and repair company with more than 25 years of experience serving the Denver Metro area. We are looking for a Fireplace Installation Technician to join our team. Our company specializes in the service, repair, maintenance, and installation of fireplaces and outdoor gas appliances. Our projects range from residential homes and remodels to new construction and commercial jobsites, working directly with homeowners, builders, and contractors. Previous fireplace installation experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, gas appliances, electrical, construction, remodeling, or other related trades. Responsibilities - Install fireplaces and related equipment - Install venting systems and related components - Work with gas, electrical, mechanical, and venting systems as required - Perform framing and installation-related construction work - Measure, level, fit, and properly secure fireplace components - Follow manufacturer specifications and installation requirements - Identify installation issues and determine appropriate solutions - Protect customers' homes and property during installations - Maintain a clean and organized jobsite - Perform quality-control checks before completing installations - Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle - Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, builders, and other trades - Follow company and jobsite safety procedures Qualifications - Previous fireplace installation experience preferred - HVAC, plumbing, gas appliance, electrical, remodeling, or construction experience is a plus - Strong mechanical aptitude - Comfortable using hand and power tools - Ability to read and follow installation instructions and diagrams - Strong measuring and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail - Comfortable working in residential homes, commercial projects, and active construction sites - Able to work on ladders and in difficult-to-access areas - Professional, dependable, and punctual - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Valid driver's license - Clean driving record required - Successful criminal background check required Compensation & Benefits - Starting salary of $65,000+ per year - Company-paid health insurance - Company truck - Paid vacation - Paid holidays - Full-time, year-round employment - Ongoing training and technical support - Opportunity for long-term career advancement Why Work for Us?
