Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.
Duties
- You will coordinate work assignments and set priorities for assigned employees.
- You will perform and/or advises on work in all phases of the budget formulation and approval phase.
- You will certify contract invoices for payment.
- You will prepare and review weekly and monthly departmental reports for submission to command.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Extracting/analyzing financial and program data from multiple automated systems to identify trends and discrepancies; 2) Preparing financial reports using office automation tools (e.g. spreadsheets, databases); 3) Conducting evaluations of budgetary and accounting processes to access efficiency and auditability; 4) Working with multiple programs, funding sources, interrelated systems to ensure efficient use of funds in support of meeting the organizations strategic objectives.
