Full job description

CTG is seeking to fill an ETL Data Analyst position for our client.

Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC – No Remote

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

  • Analyze banking regulatory reporting requirements, including Call Reports, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Basel 3, and other regulatory submissions.

  • Analyze source systems, data structures, relationships, and business rules to identify data required for regulatory reporting.

  • Perform advanced SQL-based data profiling, validation, reconciliation, data quality analysis, and root cause investigation.

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support ETL workflows, mappings, sessions, and transformations using Informatica PowerCenter .

  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, data lineage, data definitions, ETL specifications, and business rule documentation.

  • Gather and translate business and regulatory requirements into data sourcing, mapping, and ETL specifications.

  • Investigate data discrepancies, ETL failures, reconciliation breaks, and reporting issues; perform root cause and impact analysis.

  • Support data integration, batch processing, production validation, testing, releases, and regulatory reporting enhancements.

  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Business, and Technology teams.

  • Maintain documentation and controls supporting data governance, audits, regulatory compliance, and examination requests.

Experience:

  • Strong banking and financial services domain experience, including Loans, Deposits, Customer, General Ledger, Treasury, Risk, and Financial Reporting data.

  • Hands-on Informatica PowerCenter development experience, including complex mappings, transformations, sessions, workflows, reusable components, performance tuning, and production support.

  • Experience supporting Axiom regulatory reporting solutions and banking regulatory reports such as Call Reports (FFIEC 031/041), FR Y-9C, and FR Y-14.

  • Advanced SQL experience in data warehouse and regulatory reporting environments, including profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data quality analysis.

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, ETL best practices, and enterprise data integration frameworks.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
