Full job description

Internal Posting: Current Midlands Technical College Employees Only

The Project Coordinator will provide administrative and project support to the Associate Director of Construction and Planning in the planning, coordination, and prioritization of construction, renovation, and repair projects across Midlands Technical College. This position will help ensure projects are organized, tracked, and coordinated effectively to support the College’s facilities and campus needs. The Project Coordinator will also provide administrative and logistical support to the Project Manager for major and minor construction, renovation, and repair projects across all College campuses. Responsibilities may include coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, scheduling meetings and activities, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with project timelines and deliverables. This position will be located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.

High school diploma and relevant experience. Ability to assist and work with engineers, architects, technical staff, contractors and skilled trade subs. Ability to read and understand Architectural and Engineering drawings. Basic knowledge and understanding of the International Building Code. Entry level experience managing construction and renovation projects. Experience with state procurement, energy management, and The Office of the State Engineer.
