Compounders – all 3 shifts
Job Description
At Sheffield Pharmaceuticals, the home of the original Sheffield Toothpaste, we offer exclusive, quality, branded products to promote wellness and relief to our customers. Our wellness and first aid products include a variety of creams and ointments, nasal products, and toothpaste all made in the USA since 1850.
We are currently seeking Manufacturing Compounders at our New London, CT facility to manufacture product according to batch sheets and in compliance with S.O.P. and cGMP procedures
Compounding Personnel
REPORTS TO: Compounding Manager or Supervisor
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Passing of company required tests. Previous experience mixing compounds in a manufacturing environment preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manufacture product as directed, following batch sheets and complying with S.O.P. and cGMP procedures.

Lifting requirements up to 50 pounds. Must have medical clearance to be able to wear a respirator to perform the duties of the job.

Check and identify all raw materials using crude codes to insure correct manufacture of products.

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of compounding department.

Maintain proper liaison with all departments to contribute to the team philosophy.

Responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with S.O.P.'s, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's while performing duties.

Follow all Environmental and OSHA requirements. Attend in-house training sessions.

Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.
