Summary: ATS is seeking a full-time Level III SPRAT or IRATA Rope Access Technician in the Jacksonville, FL area . This individual would assist or be responsible for performing a variety of inspection, maintenance, and repair services in accordance with their rope access certification. Experience within the petrochemical and pulp/paper industries is a plus. Must be willing to have flexible schedule and be willing to travel. Additional NDT certifications is a plus. Must be near the Jacksonville area.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Preforms inspection, maintenance, and possible repair work at client work sites.

Excellent Communication skills and report writing.

Focus on safety and risk management in safeguarding self and others during each job assignment.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
-
High School diploma or equivalent required.
-
Maintains certification as a Level III Rope Access Technician in SPRAT or IRATA.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.

Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.

Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
-
Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.

Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time

Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
