Pick and Pack Worker - Day shift 7:45 AM-8:00 PM

Job Summary:

Join Kelly Services as a Pick and Pack Worker in Mebane, NC! In this role, you will manually inspect plastic parts, prepare them for shipping by packing into boxes, sealing, labeling, and stacking on pallets. You may also operate machinery and assist in training staff. We are looking for detail-oriented team players who prioritize safety and organization in their work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect completed plastic parts for quality (e.g., discoloration, burns, contamination).

• Record data as required by management.

• Pack products into shipping containers, weigh, label, and transfer products to shipping area using SAP.

• Maintain cleanliness of the production and packing areas (sweeping, removing stray parts, cleaning equipment).

• Sort and rework non-conforming products and document accordingly.

• Foster teamwork and maintain professional working relationships.

• Complete assigned training and operate in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Average or better math skills required.

• Ability to spend extended periods standing and walking.

• Good color perception and manual dexterity.

• Safely lift up to 35 lbs.

• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of the organization.

• Detail-oriented, with ability to work in an orderly and logical manner.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, and email preferred.
