Job Description

We are seeking an RF Engineering Aide to provide technical support to a team of RF and microwave design engineers in a defense manufacturing environment. This individual will serve as a bridge between engineering development programs and laboratory testing, supporting RF hardware builds, automated test equipment (ATE), troubleshooting, data collection, documentation, and engineering analysis activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician or engineering aide who enjoys working directly with RF hardware, test equipment, cable assemblies, and engineering teams while gaining exposure to RF design and development programs.

Skills and Requirements

Active Secret Clearance Minimum 3 years of experience in an Engineering Aide, Engineering Technician, Test Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar technical role. Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or electronics environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and block diagrams. Experience building cable assemblies and wire harnesses from drawings. Hands-on experience assembling precision electronic hardware. Experience using hand tools and working under a microscope. Familiarity with RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, or power meters. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers and technicians. Active Secret Clearance Associate's Degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline. General RF and microwave knowledge. Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and test stand assembly. Experience performing soldering and rework of electronic assemblies. Previous experience supporting RF communications, radar, aerospace, or defense programs. Familiarity with RF measurements such as S-Parameters, Phase Noise, Harmonics, and Noise Figure. Experience supporting both development and production environments.
