Job Title: Mechatronics EngineerJob Description
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will lead the design and assembly of custom machinery and packaging equipment using SolidWorks. You will develop and implement robotic solutions with a strong emphasis on FANUC and Universal Robotics platforms. This role requires end-to-end project execution, ensuring machines are assembled correctly, tested thoroughly, and optimized for performance. You will participate in backend testing to validate machine functionality and resolve issues. Additionally, you will interact with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction, while collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Lead the design and assembly of custom machinery and packaging equipment using SolidWorks.

Develop and implement robotic solutions with a focus on FANUC and Universal Robotics platforms.

Ensure proper assembly, thorough testing, and performance optimization of machines.

Participate in backend testing to validate machine functionality and resolve issues.

Interface with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and automation.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and robotic programming with FANUC and Universal.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and anticipate project needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.

Strong follow-through from design to build and test phases.

This role involves an office-based engineering position, with time split between desk work for design programming and the shop floor for troubleshooting machines and equipment post-assembly. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $55.29/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
