Job Title: Battery Module Integration Engineer
Job Summary: Alsym Energy is looking for a self-driven and motivated module integration engineer with a passion in the field of energy storage. In this position, the candidate will have an opportunity to drive rapid and innovative advancements in materials and processes for next-generation energy storage systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for active product development efforts and will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists to deliver Sodium-ion systems with demanding performance requirements.
Industry Background: Energy storage is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the global energy economy, with annual stationary storage capacity additions projected to grow 23% per year from 2025 to 2035, driven by surging electricity demand from electrification, data centers, and AI infrastructure. Yet lithium-ion — the dominant technology — remains plagued by inherent flammability risks, high-profile fires that have eroded public trust, and fragile supply chains. - Practical and working knowledge of cell effects on module performance limitations
- Hands-on individual capable of debugging equipment and testing issues with regards to module testing
- Functional knowledge regarding cell level testing and validation is preferred but not required
- Strong team player, excellent communicator and self-motivated individual
- Professional demeanor towards suppliers and partners as well as colleagues
Roles & Responsibilities:
