Full job description

Introduction

Are you ready to launch your HR career at one of the most dynamic organizations in the world? IBM’s HR Delivery Operations (HRDO) Early Professional Hire Program is built for bold, curious, and driven early professionals who want more than a job — they want to make an impact from day one.

As a Global Mobility Data & Reporting Analyst, you won’t be on the sidelines. You’ll be embedded in the heart of HR Delivery Operations working alongside experienced HR professionals, analyzing real data, solving real problems, and contributing to the employee experience for IBMers around the world. This is an opportunity to develop the skills the future of HR demands — data fluency, analytical acumen, AI-native thinking, and the judgment to challenge the status quo — while building a career with depth, purpose, and trajectory.

From your first week, you will be immersed in IBM’s culture, tools, and ways of working. Over the course of the role, you will grow from learner to contributor to subject matter expert — developing functional expertise, owning meaningful work, and building the foundation for a long-term career within IBM HR.

Your role and responsibilities

The Global Mobility team is a critical function within IBM that supports the movement and deployment of IBMers across the globe. Whether this is cross border travel, immigration, relocation, or international assignment, we ensure that IBMers (and their families) get to the right place at the right time to perform critical work for the company.

  • Week 2 — HRDO Immersion: Grounding in HR I&O leadership, the HRDO operating model, KPIs, end-to-end experience measurement, and the PMO

  • Months 1-3 — Immersion: Embedded alongside the cross-functional delivery squad, learning through direct exposure and structured coaching

  • Months 4-6 — Accountability: Leading data and analytics deliverables with structured oversight, building confidence through ownership

  • Months 7-12 — Impact: Developing deep functional expertise and independently proposing actions to improve employee experience and operational performance

  • Months 12+ — Elevation: Transitioning from developer to driver — owning strategic initiatives, influencing outcomes across HRDO, and building the credibility to grow into broader roles

Function-Specific Responsibilities:

The Global Mobility Data & Reporting Analyst will perform detailed reporting and analysis in support of the Global Mobility team. This will include research, performance reporting, analytics, operations management, audit, and departmental operations. In this role, you will plan, design, and execute reporting and analysis by accessing and consolidating data from multiple sources. You will collaborate with departmental managers to help produce meaningful analysis in a comprehensive format which includes dashboards, charts, graphs, and presentations. You will help to summarize data and provide your commentary or observations based on your analysis. Sources of data may be enterprise systems, complex spreadsheets, vendor/supplier databases.

Shared Responsibilities Across All ELH Roles:

  • Analyze operational and employee experience data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
