This is a hands-on engineering role focused on taking existing and developing cooling products and ensuring they meet security requirements prior to release. The engineer will work directly within CAREL, PLC, and network management development environments, writing and modifying code, enabling security functionality, testing changes, and supporting products through secure release. The ideal candidate combines a strong cooling/control engineering background with hands-on software development experience and is comfortable working directly within controls development platforms.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of relevant controls engineering, cooling controls, or controls software development experience. -Hands-on experience working with CAREL components and development platforms. -Experience developing and writing code within PLC environments. -Experience working with network management controllers/cards. -Strong hands-on coding experience within controls development platforms. This role requires someone who can actively develop and modify code, not solely configure or maintain systems. -Experience supporting products through the development, testing, and release process. -Experience with CAREL 1tool, c.suite, and/or related CAREL development environments. -Cooling, HVAC, refrigeration, or thermal management controls. -Embedded controls or controls software development. PLC programming. -Connected or network-managed cooling equipment. -Product development environments where security functionality is incorporated into controls software prior to release.
